# Contact darken.video

Toned down a glaring beach clip and it still looks flat? Spotted a bug, or have a look you wish existed? Send an email. We don’t run a contact form or a support portal, so writing to the address below is the way to reach us.

Address [hello@darken.video](mailto:hello@darken.video)

## What we’d like to hear about

* **Corrections that miss.** Tell us whether you used**Auto fix** or a look such as **Overexposed**,**Bright sunlight**, **Blown-out sky** or**Dim it down**, where the **Strength** slider sat, and what the result got wrong: muddy shadows, grey whites, odd colours. A description of the scene is plenty; there’s no need to send the video.
* **Opening and exporting.** A file the tool won’t read or an export that fails, along with your browser, device and the file type.
* **Requests.** A control you’d like under **More options**, a new look, or a guide for an editor we haven’t covered.
* **Press questions,** for instance how highlights are pulled back in linear light, and why blown-out white can’t be rescued.
* **Privacy requests.** Your videos stay in your browser, so we hold almost nothing. For anything described in the [privacy notice](https://darken.video/privacy), including analytics, this is the address.

## About replies

darken.video is a small independent project with no support rota, so we can’t give a response time. Everything sent is read, and the clearer the steps in a bug report, the sooner it tends to be sorted.
